1. Overview

Welcome to YourCalc (yourcalc.info), operated by KnotStranded LLC. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, who collects it, how it is used, and the choices you have.

2. Calculator Inputs Stay on Your Device

All calculations run client-side in your browser. The numbers you type into a calculator are not sent to or stored on our servers. If you use a "copy link" button, your inputs are placed in the URL you copy, and are only shared if you share that link.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the referring page, for security and performance. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used, in aggregate. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to do this.

4. Information You Send Us

If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use it only to reply to you and to fix reported problems, and we do not sell it or add you to a mailing list.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (for example a contact message), and you may object to or restrict processing. Data processed by Google is governed by Google’s privacy policy. You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies may be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out using the controls in section 5 or your browser’s Global Privacy Control setting. 10. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

11. Data Retention

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and resolve the issue. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting in our analytics account. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
